Gallard Terminals began in Sydney in the mid-1940s, responding to post-war shortages with locally made terminals. Trewin Components followed in Melbourne in the 1970s, specialising in terminals, banana plugs and sockets.
The companies came under common ownership in 1990. Today, Gallard-Trewin Connectors continues that practical manufacturing tradition from Sydney, serving customers in Australia and overseas.
